LINDA SHEEHAN

"A vice president at Sandler O'Neil, Linda Sheehan survived the first World trade Center bombing in 1993. A graduate of Yorktown High School and Pace University, she lived with her aunt, Nora Sheehan, during college. ""Her father was on the phone with her when the first plane hit and she was told not to evacuate by an announcement,"" Nora Sheehan said. ""We're trying to find out who made that announcement. They were told not to evacuate — everything was secure."" Sheehan's cousin, Sunshine Iles, said Sheehan was talking to a friend on a cellular phone when the second plane hit Tower 2. ""Her friend called her right after that and she went right up to the 105th floor after that but the fire doors were stuck and they couldn't get them open,"" Iles said. ""The next thing he heard were shrieks and screams and then the phone went dead."""
