TARDIO, MICHAEL AMES - Michael Ames Tardio, of Beverly Hills, California, formerly of Rye, New York, died tragically on Sunday, September 2nd in Los Angeles, California. He was 35. Michael was the husband of Kelsey Oldershaw Tardio and the devoted father of Lucas Shaw, age 5, and Riley Gristina, age 3. He was born on November 17, 1966 in Port Chester, New York, attended the Harvey School in Katonah, NY, Avon Old Farms Academy in Avon, CT and Harrison High School in Harrison, NY (where he played football) and Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. Mr. Tardio worked for Neil Tardio Productions in New York City before moving to Los Angeles to pursue his career in the entertainment industry. Michael was the cherished son of Mr. and Mrs. Neil Tardio of Rye, NY, and the beloved brother of Amy and David Blumberg, Jeryl and Kenneth Malloy and Julia and Neil Tardio, Jr. He was the adoring uncle to Conor, Maggie, Kenny, Shane, Andrew, Alex, William and Max. Mr. Tardio will be remembered for his unending devotion to his children, his great wit and sense of humor and selfless love for his family and friends. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 9, 2002 at 5:00 p.m. at the Church of the Resurrection, 910 Boston Post Road, Rye, NY. The interment will be private.
