GUTIERREZ, JOSE - Jose Gutierrez of Yonkers, formerly of Cuba on Wednesday January 19, 2000. He was born and educated in Cuba. He was born on February 16, 1924. He married his wife Ernestina Diaz in Cuba on March 14, 1954. He came to the United States in 1966. He worked for the Mid-Chester Jewish Center in Yonkers for 20 years and he also worked for Nelson Maintenance Co. of Yonkers until he retired 6 years ago. He is survived by his wife Ernestina ( nee Diaz) Gutierrez of Yonkers. His children Mrs. Nelson (Maria Teresa) Gisbert of New Rochelle, Fidel Gutierrez and Mrs. Jack (Marilyn) Yurus both of Yonkers. Also survived by 3 grandchildren. Reposing at the Yonkers Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Service on Friday evening at 8PM. Reverend Jack Yurus officiating. Interment private.
