CHASAR, MICHAEL J. Michael J. Chasar of Milford, PA, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2005, after a lengthy illness. He is formerly of Des Moines, IA, King of Prussia, PA, and New City, NY. He was born August 4, 1949 in the Bronx, to Al and Pauline Chasar, formerly of New City, and was the middle child to sisters Bernice and Donna. In addition to his parents, he is survived by: his loving wife Marilyn, children - Nedra, Jessie, Jed, Jon, Dejah and Tars, grandchildren - Tori, Mason, Xavier, Jaidyn and Sophie, stepsons - Eric, and Adam Barden, and his two sisters families - brother-in-law Bob Dworkin of Bardonia, NY, and niece Gabrielle Dworkin of W. Springfield, MA, niece Allison Maer of Cornwall, NY, and nephew Michael Maer of RI. Also surviving are his aunt and uncle, Alex and Sylvia Klein of FL, as well as several cousins across the U.S. and Isreal. Michael graduated from Clarkstown North in New City and Drake University in Des Moines. He also served in the military. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, in lieu of flowers. Shiva will be observed Wednesday through Friday at the home of Bernice and Bob Dworkin.
