Anna P. Calabrese of Yorktown Heights, formerly of Peekskill, NY passed away on November 18, 2009, she was 89 years old. Mrs. Calabrese was Co-owner and Administrator of Marrs Nursing Home, Mohegan Lake, NY along with her Husband Joseph and daughter Paula Ress. She was born on September 23, 1920 in Pentone, Italy to Luigi and Pauline Capicotti Pullano. On October 6, 1940 she married Joseph J. Calabrese at St. Patrick's Church in Verplanck. Anna was a Charter Member and Past President of the Christopher Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Hudson Valley Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by a daughter Paula Ress of Croton-on-Hudson, NY, two sons, Dr. Richard (Jane) Calabrese of Laurel, MD and Dr. Ronald (Christine) Calabrese of Atlanta, Georgia, eight grandchildren and a sister Grace (Alex) Mazzocca of Cornwall, NY. Predeceased by her husband, Joseph J. Calabrese, two brothers, Anthony and Joseph Pullano and son-in-law Dennis Ress. Visitation is today, Friday, 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass is Saturday, 10AM at the Assumption Church. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery. JOSEPH F.
