Martin D. Nolletti, Sr., of Mahopac, age 76, passed away peacefully at Somers Manor on September 20, 2009. Martin grew up in Mamaroneck, where he was one of three adored sons. He served in the Army as a private in Special Services rehabilitating wounded soldiers. He attended the University of Miami and became a Golf Professional. Martin was a PGA member and teacher. He served as a Pro at Mohansic Golf Course in Yorktown Heights for 50 years and recently retired from Fairview Golf Center in Elmsford after 10 years. Martin is survived by his former wife and mother of his children, Dolores DePaoli; he was the devoted father of Martin Nolletti, Jr. and Lynette Nolletti and the beloved grandfather of Leanne Rende. Martin is also survived by his brothers Pasquale Nolletti and Albert Nolletti and his wife Cheerie, and eight nieces and nephews. Also surviving him is his long-time friend Anne Grenci. Martin's active spirit and love of the game of golf will be dearly missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday from 1 - 4pm at Clark Funeral Home in Yorktown Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rosary Hill Home.
