CIFUNI, JOSEPH J.

Joseph J. Cifuni, of Little Falls, NJ, died on August 26, 2007. He was 65. Joseph was born in Astoria, NY and moved to Congers in his youth. In 1985, he moved to New Jersey. Joseph graduated Clarkstown High School and Rider College. He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving with the United States Airforce, a past exalted ruler of the Haverstraw Elks 877 and a member of the American Legion Post 199. Joseph was employed by Avis Budget Rental Group, Parsippany, NJ in the Sales Tax Department. Joseph is survived by his wife of 35 years, Judith Cifuni; his son, Cesar Collado; his grandson, Juan Samuel Lozano, Jr.; his brother, Fred J. Cifuni and his wife, Virginia; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Cable; his brother-in-law, Bruce Cable and wife, Myong Ja; his godchildren, Fred, Richard, and Dominic Cifuni, Kathy Sherry, Eliani Andujar and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. Joseph is predeceased by his parents, Frank and Lucy Cifuni, brothers, Robert, Joseph, Frank A. Cifuni, and his father-in-law, Robert Cable. Friends may call Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Higgins Funeral Home, 113 East Lake Road, Congers, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday, 10 AM, at St. Paul's Church, Congers, NY, with burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Rockland Lake, NY. MICHAEL J.
