BASIC FUNCTION

QUALIFICATIONS
College degree preferred. Minimum 2-years experience in sales or previous experience as a Sales Associate. Sales, computer, auto industry helpful, media experience preferred. Digital experience critical. Good computer skills required. Excellent communication skills required. Organized, self-motivated, goal oriented, able to work in deadline-oriented environment. Must have regular access to a motor vehicle.

BASIC FUNCTION

RESPONSIBILITIES
Support digital specialists in providing leads, answering inquiries, creating proposals and solutions, managing churn, and develop strategies on how to grow revenue from new and existing customers.
Provide marketing data, spec ads, co-op research, creative ideas to create new ideas and solutions for customers.
Make clear connections between customers’ most pressing needs and the product(s) offered in order to meet customer needs and provide information to client directly or team specialist.
Work with sales reps in meeting stated goals within established timeframe; works with others to ensure deadlines are met.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is required. Successful at building relationships as an inside sales rep - minimum 2 years. Experience in or knowledge of digital products. Direct experience in digital advertising sales is strongly preferred. Experience with a consultative selling model; ability to balance driving product sales while maintaining a consultative approach.

BASIC FUNCTION
The Multimedia Editor will have proven multimedia-editing skills and an excellent understanding of journalism craft, principles and practices, as well as experience in leading news and event coverage using audio, photography and video. RESPONSIBILITIES

Fill in for the Visuals Director in her absence.
Work with editors and coordinator to develop long-range plans to differentiate Web content from print to engage new audiences, such as use of social media to cover breaking news.
Work on special projects as assigned and handles other essential tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in journalism, communications or related field-or equivalent experience. Excellent, proven visual skills, with a minimum 5-plus year’s multimedia experience at a newspaper or mass-market magazine or website.
Technology. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the cameras, iPhones, tablets, lights, computers and software used to produce visual and audio journalism for multiple platforms. Proficient working in studio environments for high-end magazine work and in-house videos. Linear video. Excels at directing and editing excellent short- and medium-length news and feature videos. Streaming video. Excels at directing live news events, features and chats from any locations. Have a deep understanding of the live-streaming studio and related software and hardware. Comfortable with the Web, especially social networking (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, BrightCove Mobile, CoverItLive) blogging. iPhone, tablets and apps and able to identify the latest Web trends. Analysis of revenue trends, making projections based on synthesizing data from multiple sources, and using data to set realistic revenue targets. Strong oral, written communication skills and the ability to lead sales meetings and to present to customers and groups. Understands media group's products, inclusive of digital and other multi-media offerings and how they provide value to advertisers, as well as the processes, practices and policies involved in selling advertising. Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor, to create strong organizational bench strength.
