BASIC FUNCTION
Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets for financial reporting and analysis. Provide information to management for budget preparation, tracking revenue performance and monitoring new products. Coordinate submission of certain reports to Corporate.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide management with specialized information including competitive analysis, contract/revenue fulfillment, rate analysis, account history, other requested data. Develop sophisticated Sequel and Brio extracts from the AS/400 for use in various analyses. Working with raw data, evaluate the best solution for creating Adhoc reports and recommend possible solutions. Develop Excel, Access, Outlook Soft, and other database reports for use in ongoing operations. Perform various analytical functions such as rate and order reviews, adjustment coding and account analysis. Participate in online audit monthly.
Review, test and implement advertising rate proposals, set up of new products, special billing structures and packages, including Solutions Selling, provide revenue forecast as requested. Maintain rates/codes, files and other related maintenance files in G3, Relationals, and other operating systems as needed. Continually review processes and procedures to identify operating efficiencies. Implement changes to increase efficiencies. Participate in special projects and system conversions.
Coordinate the maintenance of spreadsheets and reports used by the Advertising/ Marketing departments for revenue and expense budgets. Provide support to other departments in the preparation of budgets, use of files, and training. Prepares, develops and analyzes revenue for staff goals and prepares commission reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or IT with a minimum of three years work experience with analysis and systems applications in an accounting or finance environment. Superior working knowledge of MS Office products including the development of macros. Previous experience developing and using Sequels. Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks. Must be customer oriented and able to deal with individuals at all levels of the organization. Must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and be adept at developing computerized solutions for business processes and procedures. Experience in daily and monthly accounting processes, familiarity with internal controls and GAAP. Ability to learn quickly and work accurately under time constraints.

BASIC FUNCTION
The training specialist supports the training and development needs of the company. This includes all aspects of training from needs assessment through measuring program effectiveness.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Training/Facilitation: Deliver programs to the company. Primary programs include management and supervisory development programs, employee development, HR policies/procedures/legal, customer service, executive development and change management. Select most effective tools and techniques based on mastery of wide range of methods and courses. Keeps abreast of current training tools, techniques and practices to provide effective competitive leading-edge training solutions.
Instructional Design: Design, write and customize training programs for the company. Assist clients in identifying needs and requirements, then designing appropriate programs to meet their needs.
Measuring / Tracking Training: Collect data on training programs attended. Identify and communicate effective methods for measuring the effectiveness of training programs. Train sales staff; and implement corporate training programs such as Solution Selling, performance standards coaching, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor degree plus a minimum of 5 years experience as an H/R trainer or organization development consultant with managerial experience. Must have excellent facilitation, leadership and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work with managers and employees at all levels. HR related Masters Degree a plus. Experience with media-based company a plus. Certification in PDI 360 feedback instruments for mangers and executives, Myers Briggs Type Indicator and DDI’s Target Selection Program and Achieve Global training certified a plus.

Experience with a consultative selling model, ability to balance driving product sales while maintaining a consultative approach. Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to present to customers, ability to generate compelling sales proposals based on research and data that is relevant to the customer. Must be computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and required technology for the position. Must have regular access to a motor vehicle and valid insurance.

Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the cameras, lights, computers and software used to produce visual and audio for multiple platforms. Fluency in English and basic writing. QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma, basic math skills and computer skills with primary focus in Excel, Word and e-mail. Ability to learn and utilize reporting functions in AS-400 circulation system. Interpersonal and communication skills. Computer, calculator, newspaper loading carts and dumpster.
