Why are you running for office or seeking re-election?
My family has a long history of community service in Putnam County. In my time on the Putnam County Energy Commission I was disappointed int he legislatures response to our recommendations to save the county money. I think I can make a difference in the county's bottom line by following through on the Energy Commission proposals as well as other cost saving ideas.

What in your personal, civic or professional experience recommends your election or return to office?
As an Engineer, I have worked for a large multinational corporation as well as start up companies with responsibilities for projects valued at $50M+. I have experience working with budgets similar in size to the counties. In addition, I owned my own contracting business for seven years. I got to know the issues the people in the district face even better and know what it is like to have to make payroll.

What would be your top three priorities if you are elected or re-elected?
Reduce costs by implementing energy savings programs/ obtaining grants for energy savings projects

Reduce cost of unfunded mandates, like pre-K busing. Work with state representatives to fix the loopholes in the current system.

Work with Putnam IDA/EDC to fill vacant storefronts before pursuing large scale commercial projects.
