LAWRENCE F. BOISSEAU

In June 2002, Boisseau received a posthumous Medal of Honor from the Port Authority for his actions on Sept. 11.

In 2007, Boisseau's voice could be heard on a transcript of a 911 call released by police. He calmly requested medical attention for some wounded people in the lobby of the South Tower, carefully spelled out his name and gave the tower's location. Four minutes later, the South Tower collapsed.
